integrity, compassion, justice, and dedication. 

Representing - Surprise, Sun City West, Wickenburg, Morristown, Wittmann, and El Mirage

About Danielle Blake

Danielle is a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.  She is married to an amazing man, who is a dedicated leader within the community. She is the Mother of six wonderful children and grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren.

 

Danielle is a proud daughter, sister, and mother of military Veterans who have honorably served the United States of America. She was raised in Europe before moving to Arizona during her sophomore year in high school. Danielle graduated from Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Arizona.  

In 2001, Danielle moved to Surprise, Arizona to raise her family and serve in her community. Her service to her church and community has impacted countless lives. Danielle served as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America at the local and district level for 15 years. She served on multiple Eagle Boards, Merit Badge Round-Ups, District Trainings, and hundreds of Pinewood Derbies. Danielle and her family love serving their local community through a variety of service projects and events in Surprise, El Mirage, Wickenburg, and Sun City West. 

Danielle is set to graduate in April of 2026 with her Bachelor's degree in Applied Business Management. 

Danielle is an appointed Judge Pro Tem in Yavapai County.

Danielle is also a Civil Traffic Hearing Officer and a Small Claims Hearing Officer, she has completed those certifications through the Arizona Judicial Education Services program. 

Danielle's love and compassion for the community is shown in all aspects of her life of service. She is looking forward to continuing her service to her community as your next Justice of the Peace. 

What Is A Justice of the Peace?

The Justice of the Peace is an elected position and serves in a court of limited jurisdiction.

A Justice of the Peace presides over court cases such as traffic violations, small claims, marriage ceremonies, and civil matters up to $10,000 - including eviction actions; landlord and tenant disputes; collection cases; consumer complaints against businesses; negligence actions; and breach of contract cases.  

A Justice of the Peace may preside over criminal traffic offenses, including DUIs. May also conduct preliminary hearings on felonies such as assault and battery; DUI; bad checks; violations of orders of protection or injunctions against harassment; underage drinking.

A Justice of the Peace does not need a law degree nor to be an attorney.  

Petition Signatures

Thank you to everyone who has signed Danielle's petitions and offered generous words and prayers of support. Thank you to those who have assisted in collecting petition signatures for Danielle. The Danielle Blake for Justice of the Peace campaign needs your assistance. With roughly 1,500 signatures to collect just to appear on the ballot, it can be a daunting task. Your help would be greatly appreciated and would make a difference to help Danielle qualify for the ballot to be your next Justice of the Peace. 

There are two way you can help get Danielle on the ballot. 

ONE - Sign a hard copy, paper petition. If you submit your information through the Volunteer page and we will get a peition to you. If you would be willing to take a petition to collect 10 signatures for the campaign, that would be amazing and a blessing. To sign the petition you must be a registered voter in Maricopa County and live within the Hassayampa district. 

TWO - Sign online!!  For the first time ever Justice of the Peace and Constable are both added to E-Qual!

                                   The county did some recent boundary changes, so you may not be in Danielle's precinct, but you can                                         still help her get on the ballot.  Share her website, her QR code, her link with your friends and family in her area.  And keep her in your thoughts as prayers as she continues to work hard to serve our community.  Danielle is grateful for the love and support she has received from so many, and for the new friends she has made on this incredible journey she has embarked on.

 

If you follow the information below - you can see who all you are able to sign petitions for on E-Qual.

Click here on Equal click on "sign a candidates petition". It will then ask for information to verify your identity. This information is first and last name, date of birth, driver's license number OR voter's registration number AND last four of SSN. You will then confirm your address and it will take you a list with all of the candidates you can sign for. Once you have signed digitaly it will not let you sign for another candidate in that same position unless there is more than one seat open.
